Some people say that Lady Gaga took some fashion details from Croatian great singer and unique performer Josipa Lisac. The most interesting od all is that Josipa Lisac never heard about Lady Gaga till newspapers asked what does she think about her and her style and dressing. Anyway, Josipa Lisac is far away better singer comparing to Lady Gaga. She is one of the best Croatian performer in music art. (very various styles including jazz).
Josipa Lisac (born February 14, 1950 in Zagreb, Croatia).
During the 1960s she was a vocalist of the group named Zlatni Akordi. Her first solo album, recorded in 1973, Dnevnik jedne ljubavi (Diary of one love) was a huge success and is until today one of the most legendary albums in Croatia.
She had a lot of big rock hits, but she also sang Bosnian folk songs (Omer beže) and Croatian Christmas songs. Beside being a top act of the Croatian popular music, she was also highly acclaimed in the former Yugoslavia rock scene. She is also great jazz performer.
I love Josipa Lisac…and Lady Gaga..they both have style…
